Aphex Twin - Richard D. James (1996)
Aphex Twin's self titled album of sorts. Strange, funky beats; mostly drum and bass. Many consider this to be the best example of a drill 'n bass album.

Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall 1971 (2007)
Change of pace right here. This is not electronic, or hip hop, or reggae, but it is a masterpiece. Recorded at Massey Hall in Toronto, CAN, Young switches between acoustic guitar and grand piano, playing songs that will bring a tear to your eye.

LCD Soundsystem - 45:33 (2006)
Although the recording is 23 seconds longer than the title would suggest, it's still really fvcking good. This is a long-form record designed for runners. "The publicity for 45:33 described it as being designed to accompany jogging workouts, 'to reward and push at good intervals of a run.' ". Some bits of this recording found their way into LCD Soundsystem's album Sound of Silver (I'll upload soon).

Black Uhuru - Sinsemilla (1980)
Black Uhuru are legends in the dub community. So, it would only make sense that this album would be produced by the best, Sly & Robbie. Guitar and drums get reverb'd to shit and the bass is way too heavy, but that's what makes this shit so good.

Ossie Hibbert & The Revolutionaries - Earthquake Dub (1976)
Played by The Revolutionaries and produced by Ossie Hibbert, this is, IMO, the best dub album ever released. So roll a fattie, cause shit's about to get weird.
