My hands down favorite venue, the Highline Ballroom, absolutely rocked this night. The show was an absolute blast, but I could not find any recordings of this show until I stumbled upon an audience recording yesterday. The Join is members of The New Deal, Darren Shearer (drums) and Jamie Shields (keys). They toured with various special guests but on this night they played with Marc Brownstein (bass) and Aron Magner (keys) of The Disco Biscuits.

Self released in 1996, this is The Disco Biscuits debut album. Sammy was still in the band, Barber was skinny, Magz had a pony tail and all was good.
